Black friday wasn't the only big shopping day to save money. This year's Cyber Monday was bigger than before. It was recorded one of the biggest shopping says in U.S history. There was a spending of 1.25 billion dollars during this day. It went up 22% from last year. Since the holidays are getting closer and everyone is buying their gifts, during the month of November online shopping hit a record of $15 billion in all. Tech Article 11/18

On Wednesday this past week I bet a lot of tumblr users were a bit scared of what was happening on their dashboard. First there was a link that said what was going on. That there was a law that was being discussed about censorship. This law is to have less chance of something being posted with out copyright. A lot of people take pictures as their own and it's unfair to the people that worked hard on making the post. In order to get their word around they censored your dashboard. But unlike a few people, once i refreshed the page it was back to normal. Tumblr as of right now is back to normal with no changes.

My weekend and reflection on the 1st marking period

Over the weekend I hung out with my friends around town. Wednesday night I went to the WR .vs. HH freshman game. We lost unfortunately (but i knew we were). On Saturday night I went to the movies to see the new movie Jack and Jill. It was really funny and my friends and i loved it. On Sunday i didn't do much. Towards the end of the day I hung out with friends. It was a fun weekend even though i didn't go or do much.

MP1 reflection: This marking period i did pretty good i think. In this class the last time i checked i had an A- which is great! In the beginning I had a B- and i didn't like that especially  in the first 2 weeks of school but i brought it up a while letter grade. I learned how to use a Gmail account and it helped so much because we use it a lot. I was used to printing papers out but now its all through the internet and this class really helps.

Remember when Google, Yahoo and other websites wanted to buy Facebook? Well those days are over. Facebook is now too big to buy. The website can still be bought for about 15 billion dollars. In july there were over 500 million active users on Facebook. In my opinion i think facebook should stay the way it is and not be owned by any other website.
